Ignite ancient spirits with Mexican Dance Group Xochiquetzal! Established as a foundation in 2005, this 8-person ensemble boasts a repertoire of over 60 dances from 18 Mexican states, performing annually at festivals, parades, and events across Europe. Presenting four Aztec dances—New Fire Dance (gratitude for a new era), Xipe Road Step, Xochiquetza Joy (honoring the goddess of dance and harmony), and White Eagle—they greet the gods with feathered headdresses and simulated fires, reviving pre-Hispanic rituals from 1300-1521 with joy, energy, and colorful costumes.
