About This Project

Following a season full of large-scale sacred and theatrical music, including collaborations with early music legends such as Paul Hillier and Jordi Savall (Hesperion XXI, Le Concert des Nations and Capella Reial de Catalunya) at the major European festivals and singing the iconic title role in Purcell’s Dido (Concerto Copenhagen), celebrated Norwegian mezzo-soprano Kristin Mulders turns her focus to highly intimate music making for this exclusive lieder recital exploring the magic of long Scandinavian summer evenings, Norwegian folk legends and the sheer power of Nordic nature, including Grieg’s iconic song cycle, “Haugtussa” (Mountain Maid).

Proudly presented in co-operation with the Embassy of Norway
