Embassy Festival is more than just the International Market and the artists performing on the Contemporary Stage, Classical Stage, Creative Arena and Container. We have so much more that you might not know about, but that we’d love to introduce you to.

August 31, 2018

Children will have a fantastic time. This year we will even have a colouring competition at our Kids Compound! Come and draw and you could win a limited edition Embassy Festival tote bag filled with treats we’ve collected at the International Market! We will also have the wonderful people from My Gym at the Embassy Festival this year! Children of all ages (yes that includes baby’s) will be able to enjoy various games, puppet shows, songs, dances, relays, obstacle courses and gymnastic activities. Visit My Gym at the Kids Compound this year and join in on all the fun!

Speaking of those bags, you’ve read that right! For the first time this year we’ll have Embassy Festival tote bags! You can buy them at the bars on the festival site for just €5. Great to put all those goodies in from the International Market, don’t you think?

Our partners #EUandMe will also be present at the festival this year. Join them in the film container to see four short movies, enter their giveaway contest or get a picture taken in their photobooth with your friends.

Did you know that if you take pictures at the Embassy Festival this weekend and use the hashtag #embassyfestival you could win a goodiebag? We’d love to see all your pictures. Just make sure your social media account is public, otherwise we won’t be able to see the wonderful pictures you’ve taken.

On Saturday evening the Embassy Festival will transition into UIT Festival Den Haag with a performance by Kris Berry. The singer-songwriter with roots in Curacao has established quite the recognition in the soul and jazz scene over the last few years, successfully releasing three albums so far. No wonder soul-legend Gregory Porter has recently asked her to go on tour with him. Don’t miss the chance to see her perform in this intimate setting!

As you can tell, it will be a jam-packed festival, with something fun for everyone. Will we see you this Saturday at the Embassy Festival?
