With over 50.000 visitors, over 45 performances and 51 participating embassies the Embassy Festival 2017 was a huge succes! The Embassy Festival had a dream start on the Lange Voorhout in The Hague on Friday evening. Minyeshu (ETH), Farjaam (IRN), Levi Silvanie (CUW) and a spontaneous Irish folk music session set the tone of the festival which was best seen as a two-day cultural world trip.

The trip was continued on Saturday with more than 50 participating embassies and a rich palace of world culture. The performances of Blahalouisiana (HUN), Nubiyan Twist (GBR), Barbara Kozelj (SLO) and Baptiste Hamon (FRA) were some highlights. In total, the Embassy Festival greeted over 50,000 festival visitors who embraced the wealth of cultural diversity in a amazing atmosphere. Mayor Pauline Krikke visited the colorful festival and pointed out that the festival really fits in the international city of peace and justice that The Hague is.

We would like to thank all the participating embassies, performers, visitors and our sponsors.
