In six years the Embassy Festival has expanded to an impressive international festival in which more than 60 countries participated. The festival started on Friday evening with performances by, amongst others, Témé Tan, Rizan Said and Folk Road Show. On Saturday the festival fully commenced with the International Market, Classical Stage, Contemporary Stage, Kids Compound and Creative Arena. Cultural and culinary surprises from all corners of the world came together on the Lange Voorhout. The performances by Dylan Leblanc, Oslo FAT Quartet, Ida Sand, Les Touristes, Trio Nur, Ethnofil, the rich palette of dances at the Creative Arena and the lively International Market full of surprises were the highlights of the day. The colorful Embassy Festival showed in a most literal sense that culture creates togetherness. On Saturday evening the Embassy Festival went over into the UIT Nacht, which is part of the UIT Festival Den Haag. Two festivals came together and emerged two worlds.

We would like to thank all the participating embassies, visitors, sponsors that made the Embassy Festival 2018 such a huge success. We hope to see you next year at Embassy Festival 2019.
